I have been working at a sports bar since January. My main duties are serving beer, serving food, and helping customers. I often communicate with customers in English, so this job helps me improve my speaking skills. I always try to provide friendly and polite customer service. At the sports bar, we serve many different kinds of alcoholic drinks. We provide Australian beers such as VB, Carlton Dry, Craft Beer, and Great Northern. We also serve cocktails, whisky, gin, vodka, and other spirits. I have learned more about different types of alcohol through this job. I try to serve drinks carefully and professionally. This experience has helped me understand responsible alcohol service.

I also work at a pokies venue. I started working there in April. My job is to check the pokie machines and make sure they are working properly. I also help customers if they have any issues with the machines. The venue has 88 pokie machines in the gaming room. I mainly work around the pokies room and check the machines regularly. I make sure the area is clean, safe, and comfortable for customers. Sometimes I help customers when they need support with the machines. I also report problems if a machine is not working properly. This role has helped me improve my attention to detail and customer service skills.
